Psychological Therapy

Psychological Therapy
Therapists providing Psychological Therapeutic Consultation Services include Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), or those who hold a PhD in Psychology. Psychology therapists at Hansel Union Consulting, PLLC complete psychological assessments to diagnose a variety of mental health conditions or illnesses that could impact memory, thought processes, and behaviors, including but not limited to neurodevelopmental disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, and personality disorders. Psychological assessments can help determine the severity of symptoms, the presence of a cognitive disability, root causes of emotional problems, negative and positive coping styles, reasons for aggressive behavior, information on how an individual views the world, and challenges that an individual may be facing. Psychological assessments are used during clinical interviews to collect all information related to a possible diagnosis, and are then scored and interpreted by the assessor.
